Ingredients
2 lbs. ground sausage
2 large eggs
1 ½ cups Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup lukewarm water
1 box of 3 Farm Daughters rotini
1 jar of your favorite red sauce
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a large bowl combine ground sausage, eggs, breadcrumbs, cheese, and garlic.
Slowly add the water to the meat mixture, a few tablespoons at a time, mixing with your hands until everything is just combined. Do not over mix as this may cause the meat to be tough when cooked.
Using a large spoon, scoop one tablespoon of meat into your palms and roll it into a ball. Place the ball on the baking sheet. Repeat with all of the meat.
Place the baking sheet in the oven to bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until they’re cooked through.
While the meatballs are in the oven bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, cook rotini per package instructions.
Once cooked, drain and add your favorite red sauce
Remove meatballs from oven and add to the pasta
Serve & enjoy!
