Directions
Preheat the oven to 400°F, and bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil.
Grease a large deep-dish cast iron skillet, lasagna dish or jumbo muffin tin (for individual pizza muffin cups)
Cook pasta according to package directions, then drain and transfer to a large mixing bowl.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, onion powder, garlic salt, oregano & shredded cheese.
Pour the egg mixture over the cooked pasta and stir to combine, then transfer into your greased baking dish of choice.
Spread the pasta mixture out evenly, pushing the pasta right up to the sides of the dish so you’ll get deliciously crispy edges. Bake for 15-25 minutes, or until egg mixture has set, is no longer liquid, and starts turning golden on top.
Once the crust has baked till lightly golden, remove dish from the oven and reduce the temp to 350°F.
Next, it’s time to make it a pizza! Spread the marinara sauce over the pasta crust, arrange your toppings of choice, then scatter over the remaining 2 cups of cheese.
Return dish to the oven and bake for a further 20-25 minutes until bubbly, golden & crispy like a pizza!
Allow to cool slightly before serving, or chill the dish completely and freeze or refrigerate to enjoy later. Just reheat gently for an easy make-ahead meal!
Recipe Note
This recipe makes great personal pizzas too! Just divide the pasta crust mix between holes of a jumbo muffin tin, mini skillets, or large ramekins before baking.
